Privacy

Website privacy should match what the site actually does.

The supplied RuleOak.com site is intentionally simple and static. It does not need an account, advertising SDK or analytics script to explain RuleOak and the public open-source project.

Current public site package

Hosting logs

The hosting/CDN provider may process ordinary request information—such as IP address, timestamp, requested URL, user-agent and security/diagnostic headers—to deliver and protect the website. Hosting-provider retention and security controls are a deployment property, not something this static source package can prove.

External links

Links to GitHub, standards bodies and other third parties leave RuleOak.com. Those sites operate under their own privacy, account, cookie and logging practices.

Email

If you contact hello@ruleoak.com, your email provider and RuleOak's mail provider process the message needed to respond. Send only the information necessary for the request; do not send passwords, payment credentials, signing secrets or private evidence unless a secure channel has been explicitly arranged.

When this notice must change

Review this page before adding analytics, forms, accounts, advertising, embedded third-party media, behavioral tracking or another service that changes the website's data flow.
