Does OakWave require an account?
No. Normal listening does not require a RuleOak account.
Is OakWave free?
Core live-radio listening is free. Free users may see restrained visual banner advertising on eligible browsing screens when consent and product policy allow it.
Does OakWave insert audio ads?
No. OakWave does not insert its own audio advertisement into a live station. A broadcaster may include its own advertising or sponsorship.
What is Lifetime Pro?
Lifetime Pro is a one-time non-consumable store purchase. It removes RuleOak-inserted visual ads and unlocks the current permanent Pro capabilities. It is not a subscription.
Why can a station suddenly stop working?
The broadcaster may change or remove a stream, apply a geographic restriction, require authentication, use DRM or have a temporary outage. OakWave does not bypass those controls.
Does RuleOak receive my listening history?
OakWave is designed to keep ordinary favourites, history, preferences and Radio Passport summaries local. Network requests still go to station directories, broadcasters/stream infrastructure and, for eligible Free users, Google advertising services.
Does OakWave need precise location?
No. Approximate location may be used where supported to infer a country for local discovery, but you can use the device region or choose a country manually.
How do I restore Lifetime Pro?
Open Settings and choose Restore purchase while signed in to the same store account that bought Lifetime Pro.
Why do I still hear advertising after buying Lifetime Pro?
Lifetime Pro removes RuleOak-inserted visual ads. It cannot remove advertising contained in a broadcaster's own audio stream.
Can I add my own station?
Yes, for supported public HTTP(S), M3U or PLS addresses. Private-network addresses, embedded credentials and unsafe schemes are blocked.
Are my wallpaper photos uploaded?
No. Personal photos selected through the system picker are used locally for appearance.
Where do I report a bad station or rights issue?
Use Support for playback problems and Takedown/Correction for identity, artwork, source or rights concerns.
