OakTune

OakTune terms of use

Effective: 29 July 2026

1. Licence

RuleOak grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use OakTune under the rules of the store from which you obtained it. You do not acquire ownership of the app or its source code.

2. Your music and sources

You are responsible for having lawful access to the audio, artwork, metadata and personal servers you use. Do not use OakTune to bypass authentication, DRM, territorial restrictions, access controls or provider terms.

3. Free Basic and Lifetime Pro

Free Basic provides the capabilities described in the current store listing. Lifetime Pro is a one-time non-consumable store purchase that unlocks the paid local capabilities described at purchase. Existing verified Lifetime Pro buyers retain capabilities promised to that purchase, subject to device, platform and technical limitations. Hosted services, licensed content and capabilities with recurring external cost are not included unless expressly stated.

4. Supporter Leaves

Supporter Leaves are optional consumable purchases. They do not unlock functionality or affect recommendations. After the store transaction is consumed or finished, they may be purchased again. Their local cosmetic count may not restore after reinstall or device change.

5. Payments, restore, refunds and revocation

Payments are handled by Google Play or Apple. Displayed prices are store-localized. Lifetime Pro restore depends on the authoritative store account. Refunds and revocations are governed by the store and can remove paid access when authoritative evidence is available. Metadata backups do not contain entitlement.

6. Advertising

Android Free Basic may show restrained visual banner advertising on eligible foreground screens. Advertising must not interrupt, pause, duck or replace your music. Lifetime Pro removes advertising inserted by OakTune. Current Apple builds remain ad-free until a shared Apple advertising provider is separately qualified. Third-party advertising and consent providers may apply their own terms and privacy policies.

7. Availability and changes

Features may vary by device, operating system, media format, source and store region. RuleOak may fix, improve, replace or retire features for security, reliability, legal or technical reasons, while respecting existing-purchaser commitments described above.

8. No warranty

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the app is provided “as is” and “as available.” Always keep independent backups of important media, playlists and metadata. RuleOak is not responsible for third-party servers, stores, networks or media files.

9. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, RuleOak is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liabilities that cannot legally be excluded.
